I'm not sure about it [BootStrap]. I can see the benefits for chucking out a good-looking prototype but things that force you into certain widths are fairly incompatible with my line of work where designers make something with the client, throw the design at me and then the client expects the website to to look just like the design.
Unless the designer is going to follow the columns and measurements (and frankly it's hard enough to get them to follow their own grids), and use the same styles for buttons/inputs/tables/etc, I'm never going to be able to professionally use this.
I'm also not overjoyed by the idea of having to learn 5000 class names for every layout/style eventuality.
I think its primarily designed for those "Hey, i'm a developer, I just built some really cool thing this weekend, but its freakin' like, ugly. BOOM BOOTSTRAP"
I'm using a firefox extension called gmail watcher(https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/gmail-watcher/) and for some reason it won't play a custom sound notification. I've got it working on a Mac and in PCLinuxOS, but for some reason Ubuntu 11.04 won't play the .wav file that the extens...

@GeorgeEdison I'm exaggerating, of course, but given that you need to know all the layout classes for containers and columns and then the style class names for all the various elements... I'd expect to use over 100 different classes in a medium-complexity design.
@jrg Yeah, you're marked as a staff-member (so you look like a mod on the ratings). I need to tie down some of the security settings but you should eventually be able to see most of the raw data.
Two things immediately. Never redirect to an error page. It annoys my socks off when I can't just refresh. / should be the home page. Redirecting to /wibbles/home/index causes another request every time somebody visits and generally slows things up.
I installed an Ubuntu Studio in one of the partitions that I had for using Gnome3.
The Grub2 that was installed by the default Ubuntu Studio changed all the /boot/grub/grub.cfg file creating its own menu.
Till here no problem, everything going normal.
The thing is that it wrote on the grub2 menu ...

Well I just wrote a command to let me manually update a single question and it seemed to update just fine, noticed it was answered and has checked it off. It should be off your list now @ThomasWard but I've no idea why you were allocated it in the beginning. It's running the same code it just ran now.

@William Well it has the ability to track how much cleanup people do for a set period of time (as well as keeping lifetime scores) so we can hold events to see who can clean up the most. We're hoping to offer some prizes for it.
That was the dream 10 months ago so was a key aspect of the design for it.

I was clicking on 'switch user account', which seems to not notice the changing of desktop environments... you have to click log out, then click the cog wheel, make your selection, and log in....
How can I configure my Ubuntu to start all program windows at the last window location?
In compiz I only can configure that all windows start in one corner, centered, etc.
Or I have to define rules for each program where it starts...that is too laboroius.
