@Fabby about the Udisks Indicator. As you may have noticed there's for each partition, there is specific set of lines: Partition device file , Alias, Drive to which partition belongs, Mountpoint , Filesystem type, and Usage. Partition device is simply sda1 or sdb1. Alias is the fun part. Say you have two same looking USB disks. You can call one "My Work Stuff" and the other "My School Stuff". The indicator will remember which one is which, so if you plug in USB drive and it's mounted . . .

. . . you don't have to go "Oh, wait , which one is this ?"

Mountpoint is simply the directory where things are mounted. The cool part here is that each menu entry is linked to their mountpoint, so if I have my secondary drive linked to /mnt/HDD , i can just click on it in the indicator , and it will open Nautilus in that folder

Filesystem is just that - ext4 or ntfs, or whatever.

Usage shows how much stuff there is already on drive , and it shows it in 3 ways : percentage,usage bar, and actual GB or MB

Preferences dialog, by the way, let's you turn off some of that stuff. So lets say your disk drive name is veeeery long. You can turn off that, and keep indicator menu nice and neat

Just upgraded my netbook from 16.04 to 16.10... 35 minutes only. But then bam no more WiFi. Had to go to BIOS to disable and immediately re-enable WiFi there. Weird.
