There are a couple of applications that I find myself marking as "Always on Top" every time I use them, so I wonder if there is a way to automatically set them as so, whatever way I start them (menu, shell, gnome-do)?

I am currently running Ubuntu 11.04 and have created a startup USB disk for 11.10 using usb-creator-gtk, multisystem and unetbootin. But no matter which of the three programs I use, when I boot with the boot priority set to boot from USB, I get a BOOT ERROR message.
