It gets a little dirty if one tries to do it from within script itself due to subshells , but wrapper script allows killing main script by name and then launch new instance of main script

I tried installing JRE a while back, but something went wrong with the package decompression and failed the instalation. Now I can't install anything else. I keep getting the same error shown bellow.
