The Preboot eXecution Environment (PXE, also known as Pre-Execution Environment; sometimes pronounced "pixie") is an environment to boot computers using a network interface independently of data storage devices (like hard disks) or installed operating systems.
PXE was introduced as part of the Wired for Management framework by Intel and is described in the specification (version 2.1) published by Intel and Systemsoft on September 20, 1999. It makes use of several network protocols like Internet Protocol (IP), User Datagram Protocol (UDP), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and Tri...

I want to know if there's a hotkey in Nautilus to toggle between Tree View and Places. I googled around but I haven't found any solution... If there isn't such a hotkey, is it possible to suggest Nautilus' developers to implement this in future versions? I really like the "Places" feature, but in...
or, a twitter user uploads child porn. Yes, that is illegal, but currently, twitter would shut down the account, and send the information to the FBI to track the user down and arrest them
instead, twitter would just get shut down.
(worst case scenario, yes, but the way the law is written, it is entirely possible)
@jrg I proud to say not it does not, europe can be a lot of things but its diferent from the Us in so many other ways. (not proud in a bad way, just different)
@BrunoPereira In most things, the world follows the US - i shouldn't have said always, that was a poor choice of words. And this is probably going to be no different.
@jrg we launched our first satellites to avoid US norms and protocols just this year, this way if one day the US "remembers" to shutdown GPS we will be using the EU system
@jrg I am tankful for all the inovation the US has brought, the ppl I have met, the policies that you have applied that benefited all including outside the US, I dont agree with all you do
@StefanoPalazzo let the US say a word about "closing down" or limiting it and you will see those rockets flying high
I have added my account details and I see nothing in it, only the main icon (im a first time user and did not spend more then 3mins looking at it so dont be surprised)

@GeorgeEdison don't worry, got you covered. pulls out his badge and handcuffs

You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford one, an attorney will be provided by the Courts. ... Do you understand these rights as I have read them to you?

@EliahKagan if you have to add too much information to an answer/question in an edit, and it is not a community wiki, it would be better make your own answer/question.
I know you are enthusiatic (or something) :) - but just giving some advice.
Make sure to sign the petition that it links! We don't want the US to start policing the internet, and causing us to lose the freedoms that it contains.
I'm trying to comment on an answer to a question. I have 10 points on this forum, so I probably can't do that, but the "edit" tag let me open someone else's answer to change it (I didn't). I'm confused.
You might want to checkout one revision back from the tip. I just added an HTTP server to it so it will be a little hard to use until I add a front-end.
The previous revision provided a command based interface.
I also just reached 2k rep today, and got the long-coveted privilege to edit questions as I please. Is it normal to also feel slightly disappointed that 95% of my rep income has just vanished? :P
