I'm setting up a new machine (well actually, an Ubuntu VM) and am trying to write a script to setup a few common things that I use when doing this (Git, curl, vim + janus).
So my script looks a bit like this:
#setup
#!/bin/sh
sudo apt-get install git
sudo apt-get install curl
...
It doesn't ...
I'm loving (parts) of this new unity?/ubiquity? interface; in particular the searching with the windows key (just like Windows 7!).
But how do I:
Tell it what programs I'd like to be able to return
Tell it where I'd like file searches to be performed
I presume 2 has something to do with inde...

Wayland is a display server protocol for the Linux Operating System and a library implementing that protocol.
Wayland provides a method for compositing window managers to communicate directly with applications and to communicate directly with video and input hardware. Applications render graphics to their own buffers, and the window manager becomes the display server, compositing those buffers to form the on-screen display of application windows. This is a simpler and more efficient approach than using a compositing window manager with the X Window System.
