I upgraded my Ubuntu box from 13.04 to 14.04 LTS few days ago. Now I'm using libuuid-2.20.1. Anyway, after the upgrading, my UUID1 became very slow.

ok - finish off with a bug report. The kernel guys will ask you to try the latest mainline kernel - so you should try that as well and add that to the bug report - askubuntu.com/questions/119080/…
@Rinzwind So I selected a college(which is near my house and is in the vicinity of a city centre!) and got admitted into it today! College life begins ....soon...

if you've borrowed the ideas for your answer - then yes - just a "source" at the end of the answer and a hyperlink to the source website. If the answer is majority of your own making - no need to worry. Just make sure all pictures are all yours.

While the page is scrolling (my fingers are not on touchpad anymore), I press CTRL key.
The page is zoomed in/out

@Raphael no. it created a debian installer of the files on you system so you can install it with the modifications into another system. That aint a backup
if you want to backup you can just copy the created cache if that is still there!?

this creates a list of the software installed: dpkg --get-selections > ~/Desktop/packages then backup the file "packages" and this: cat packages > sudo dpkg --set-selections && sudo apt-get dselect upgrade restores the software to your new sytstem
its just that the internet connection at my place is limited so i have to think of different ways to save the installed softwares so that if something goes wrong while tweaking then i can go back to a better state.\
