i started laughing at couple of meters, then laughed harder at missing planes.
Yupi! I found the ê on my keyboard!
Now I can say it -> você
nice
My keyboard doesn't have a ê key
You only need one of this
:P
>.<
jk
Another one -> ã
@hbdgaf não, it does não
04:04
why is it that european languages need accent marks like the cedille and the accent-aigue? sorry that's the four years of french coming out. i don't know how to express the wavy lines used in spanish and portuguese
I am so used to them that I can explain it to you...
here we go
Spanish is hard.
Done :)
you owe me a keyboard
hahaha, I'm kidding
i meant i laughed, and the fluid from my mouth wound up on the keyboard. causing a malfunction. was said in jest. anyway...
lol
I'm writing. let me concentrate
Spanish is hard. You may use 3 span. words to state 1 eng. So having this 3x1 rule in mind, you should note that in the reverse case you may have 1 *span.* word meaning 2 eng. diff. words according to the Accent. This is because the meaning is the same, but not the *target* of the meaning. To understand this better you will need an example, so here is it:

SPAN: tu
ENG: you
SPAN: tú
ENG: your
*RCS:
tu eres un tonto -> you are a fool
tú auto -> your car

*RCS means real case scenario
And the 3x1 rule in action:

ENG: who owns what?
SPAN: Quien es dueño de que?

ENG.length = 3
SPAN.lenght = 5
04:14
I know. Other languages use accents and verb/noun conjugations/states to express disambiguation instead of context.
In other words, English is simple. But you have to be careful, because eng. people aren't afraid of Foreign people as happens in the other way around.
I'm not sure what that last bit really meant, but I'll take a break and come back to it. You still have my email to tag me back when you want to...
As english native, you (I'm not saying specifically you) assume that everyone speak it and have to be like that. You just never think/consider the idea that english isn't the main.
That is how the 98% of english native consider it.
I am working on

Here if you want to use it
In writing, a space ( ) is a blank area devoid of content, serving to separate words, letters, numbers, and punctuation. Conventions for interword and intersentence spaces vary among languages, and in some cases the spacing rules are quite complex. In the classical period, Latin was written with interpuncts (centred dots) as word separators, but that practice was abandoned sometime around AD 200 in favour of scriptio continua, i.e., with the words running together without any word separators. In around AD 600–800, blank spaces started being inserted between words in Latin, and that pra...

well, i must say... playing dead island to classical with all in game sounds and music muted is a slightly different experience. kind of weird a little, but fun nonetheless.
something about harpsicord and an electrified baseball bat just makes your brain stretch in weird ways ;)
electrified... what?
it's a thing. in the game you modify crude weapons in comical ways. so yes, electrified bat
@NathanOsman why on earth would you do that...
Do what?

undefined reference to `fuse_exit'
why? I don't really know.

undefined reference to XYZ means you have a linker/linking problem. includes let it compile, but the linker didn't find an object in its search path with that symbol exported.

Q: How can I allow applications to bind to any address in a subnet assigned to an interface?

hexafractionI recently got a static IPv6 /56 prefix of my own from Freenet6, and am trying to allow applications to bind arbitrary addresses in the prefix. @LuisAlvarado - did you do anything in particular to handle audio artifacting in Riptide? It's doing it hella-bad to me. Super-choppy. Video is fine though.

@LuisAlvarado generally nosteam works...
@hbdgaf Ok so no problem using the one I mentioned then
haven't tried that one.
@Rinzwind Do you know any good Go books?
@LuisAlvarado i'm starting to enjoy playing it muted with classical music instead. it was sort of a mind-bender at first, but it's growing on me.
18:39
@Rinzwind am old fashioned. Like to read books with actual pages, not much digital.
O.o

Who is using 14.04 ATM

@LuisAlvarado o/
there is a weird bug that makes anything visual start jumping
19:10
i've been getting weird crashes from chromium recently.. but i haven't had visual anomalies. what's the trigger?
for example when I go to nautilus and I edit the name of a file or folder, the minute I add or delete a letter it begins jumping between having the letter and not having it
like a rendering bug between what was there before and what is new
oh... i run xubuntu, not ubuntu mainline.
thunar works fine though ;) guessing it's a unity thing.
I see...
I think I can record and make the error appear on this chat
let me see if I add one more line
No error yet....
Got it. Error found ;)
Earthquake!!
OMG I recorded the error using Kazam but on the video the error is not shown. It all looks perfect
@Rinzwind i tried scsiadd -s and got this error: scsiadd: command not found
Might be some kind of sync stutter then. I had a lucas-arts game freak out because it couldn't vsync right and crap out on me (on windows, the officially supported deployment platform. oddly it worked on the same hardware in wine)
19:16
Am recording it
Do yo have G+?
me? yes. more than one.
ok send me a link so I can invite. Mine is luisalvaradox
@LuisAlvarado planning on any pgp email or anything? my browse with webmail and pgp accounts are separate... and i only see g+ on the non-pgp account
