@Seth I personally rejected them on the grounds of info being a very ambiguous tag. Your description wouldn't suit some questions with the tag (asking for general information).

@blade19899 If you can't think of anything to say, chances are you haven't given it enough thought in the first place.
It doesn't matter if, before posting, you end up rewriting the thing five times - but you need to have some idea of what you're going to write. Otherwise, it might just not be a good idea at this point.
Because comments are second-class citizens and say absolutely nothing about the expertise of the user involved, while reputation is supposed to measure precisely that.
(Regardless of how successful or not it might be at that.)
@Alvar High reputation implies the user has posted a lot. That gives them great expertise at the site's topic, however not necessarily much expertise with moderation - SE or otherwise.

That said, this is something you all might want to consider: Generally speaking, the users nominating themselves first, and particularly early, will not be elected. They're jumpy and posted a nomination because they want the diamond, not because they want to help the site.
Please do not use this thread to post opinions on subject matters or answer the questions. If you feel like addressing one of these in a larger scale, as @FEichinger notes it is appropriate to raise a Meta question, but here, let's please keep this thread solely to gathering questions to ask the candidates who are actually running for the election. — Grace Note7 mins ago

@NathanOsman Well, yeh, I knew that you knew. I just figured there might be some new info on the new API version in there that you might not have seen.
@hbdgaf It makes sense, with nautilus constantly stripping features ... But Canonical making their own stuff doesn't exactly have the best track record ...
