And my nexus 7 is charging since I let it run completely dead to get out of a unity crashed "stuck". Next up, trying out the nexus 7 pwnpad image under multirom. Reports of "working-ness" vary.
Just check if multirom works. This way, you keep your stock rom... so things can't go horribly south. And you can load whatever rom you want whenever you want.
Here's the thread on xda forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2011403 ... Someone suggested edits to the ubu-touch installation wiki that were never approved basically citing these steps. They worked for me.
Honestly, I'm targeting rooted android and saying buy a not broken from the factory device. Here's my supported device list: XYZ. If you want testing on another one, send me hardware. Seems simple enough. Like linux wireless injection/ap-mode woes and displaylink. We just need a list of what works.
@NathanOsman Say I have a blog app, a store app, and some tool apps. The blog app needs to be world facing for input. The tool app should have a psql database sync over ssh so you can manage the data somewhere else and just funnel it to the server. Syncing your tool database that is populated by a run somewhere else is a lot easier than manually syncing tables.
It's only necessary so I can run a cheaper vps with limited bandwidth instead of a more expensive flat rate vps. 5 vs 15 per month.
Also, since you're a fellow django guy, do you know what app they're using on this zinnia site for the social media integration? magic.rit.edu @NathanOsman
:/ it might be custom. I was hoping to find it somewhere since it looks really nice having social media buttons on the top like that
in other news, i got a compliment at work the other day. "we simply can't have you and your immediate supervisor off at the same time 2 days in a row. i need you to work a day this weekend, and i'll give you a long weekend next weekend."
