@Kulfy installing Nautilus and GNOME terminal, It won't change KDE to GNOME right ?

No.

Ah
Is there anyway to at least get rid of the taskbar ?

Damn you broke the silence of AUGR.

@TheLittleNaruto Not sure. Ask a question.

5:30 PM
@Kulfy Any mail client you would recommend ?

Many good questions generate some degree of opinion based on expert experience, but answers to this question will tend to be almost entirely based on opinions, rather than facts, references, or specific expertise.

I am gonna try MailSpring

I use firefox+Gmail/yahoo mail :P

Check my profile; for that mail id; I want to configure a mail client

Thunderbird then?

5:42 PM
@Kulfy MailSpring is looking good. I'll continue using it
As expected no mail so far.

So, it's primarily opinion based :P

haha; yeah seems like it

systemctl hibernate
^^^ for AUGR

@Kulfy later o/
I see RinzWind, I remember Elfen Lied

^^^ @Rinzwind who the f'n is Effen?

can a mod please remove the "marked as" duplicate from my question. it was only marked as duplicate due to not-careful reading

A: How do I install the Roboto font?

Borissudo apt install fonts-roboto There's also fonts-noto which is also from Google and has way more characters

@Boris I'm not a mod, but your question is still open.
It isn't "marked as duplicate" as of now. Though your question is having 4 close votes.

oh

After one more vote, it'll be closed as duplicate. You can surely ask to reopen then (if applicable)

At least KDE doesn't show annoying non-stopping dead battery notification

@Boris The system shows a prominent message to the question's author when more than some number of dupe votes have been cast. But other people don't see that. Users with enough rep see the number of close votes, but even we don't see anything in the question itself saying it's a duplicate (besides comments). Assuming the final close vote is not cast, the existing votes will age away and the message shown to you will also go away. From everyone else's perspective, the question is simply open.

6:14 PM
okay, sorry

@Boris Well as I can see you have also posted the same answer on the suggested question. Was it supposed to be a self-answered Q&A?

@Boris No problem! :)

@TheLittleNaruto KDE: 1, GNOME: 0

@Boris But like @Kulfy says, I'm not sure why that answer is still there. (I think the continued presence of that answer is probably encouraging people to vote to close your question as a duplicate.)

@Kulfy Only If I could send the taskbar on top and make it transparent; that should be enough

6:18 PM
@TheLittleNaruto Ask a question.

@Kulfy Done!

6:39 PM
@EliahKagan yea, I'm thinking about deleting it but I think I'll just update it to install Roboto Mono from the command line

@Boris Good idea.

I updated it to install Mono

7:19 PM
@Boris Thanks.

@Videonauth "Elven Song" Python or Gnome Java Script is next language to learn. Learning Elven might take awhile :)
@Boris What a coincidence the automated website price change reporting app I'm working on today is called roboto too! But it's named after Styx song "Mr. Roboto" not the Google font Roboto.

So, I'm trying to locate some directories in Medusa but they're not showing up. They're definetly there in the file browser, but not in Medusa. Permissions shouldnt be an issue. Anything else I can try?

8:56 PM
@user218314 Try locate /Medusa and locate /medusa If files were created today you need to update database first with sudo updatedb.
