Q: No live boot from usb and restarting with a blinking white underscore in Ubuntu [HP Laptop] , Not taking any command?

champion-runnerMy PC suddenly stopped responding after reboot. I tried using a bootable USB but nothing is appearing. I tried removing the battery too. Is this a hardware issue or my Ubuntu image is encrypted? A week ago it was showing some encryption issue. I tried all these 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5.

JC still rocks! i.stack.imgur.com/F0Nh3.png from meta.stackexchange.com/a/336792/629261. guettli is also there.
And there's a link to a tutorial on how to write queries for those interested.

@WinEunuuchs2Unix Seriously, I think what’s visual about vi is that you actually see the file you’re editing – what’s now the default hasn’t been this way in the old times when output would be an actual printout of the file. if you’d get it printed every single time you too certainly wouldn’t want to see your file after every single editing step. With ed, ex in non-visual mode and sed that’s not the case. and that’s a good modern-day answer to your question: like sed.
