Does anybody know when the next Ubuntu community wallpaper contest will be?
I can not kill 'irq/${nnn}-nvidia' by 'kill -9' or 'pkill -f -9'.
Dose anyone how to kill or stop those process?
I'm running a CubieBoard 5 which uses an A83T processor on Ubuntu Zesty.
I have the problem that multiple applications e.g. Sonarr run into name resolution errors like this:

It only has one post, but I did my usual thing of running a search which turned up ~40 questions mentioning rtorrent.

1) Process name (on linux).
2) The log file name that this process write to it.
It needs to kill the process and verify that the process is down.

I'm trying to write some short script in python which would start another python code in subprocess if is not already started else terminate terminal & app (Linux).
So it looks like:

I'm trying to kill a process (specifically iChat). On the command line, I use these commands:
ps -A | grep iChat
Then:
kill -9 PID
However, I'm not exactly sure how to translate these commands over to Python.

I installed LM18.1 on my fathers old laptop (Samsung P400, more infos under attached at the end).
