- upgrade ended up with an unusable system (grub bash minimal). UPGRADE assumed 15.10 as an EFI where I was not using EFI.
- desktop crashes every time I delete a file from the desktop
- deleting files does not send it to trash. dirs do get send to trash
- closing the lid has the system go into suspend even though the settings states to do nothing
- every boot has a 50% chance to be longer than 10 seconds. 30+ seconds even

and those are the bigger problems :=)

clicking a launcher icon when that program is active every so often crashes the program

Q: xrandr command very slow in debian

I use xrandr command to get multi-screen resolution, but in debian, it will take more than 2 second. however in ubuntu, it return immediately. how can i improve the behavior of xrandr command in debian?
