These steps solved the issue. I am having Windows 7 & Ubuntu 10.04. After running steps on the below I don't need to run these every time and able to boot OSs normally:
set root=(hd0,6)
set prefix=(hd0,6)/boot/grub
insmod normal

I don't know. When I follow the instructions in that post, my grub menu shows up after the normal command, but I don't want to always type those four commands before i see grub
@pacificfils I'm not sure. With this answer, all we do is change the prefix and try again, and it works. So where would that prefix option be in the config? :?

@RPiAwesomeness Well bukkit isn't a version or a mod it's a program that let's you install other mods.
so it doesn't relaly tell you anything about the server. But on those servers that I've been a moderator at we used bukkit with MMO mod, so that you had skills and leveled up and stuff like that
you could use /tp and set different homes and etc...
So there was no real point in using rails to go to places. Which is kinda cheating..
but in the same time we could claim our land so that we didn't have to worry about getting stuff stolen
so it was very fun to build in...
vanilla is better on a private server because you can't claim any land and you have to trust every player on the server...
And FTB is a whole other story, it's like minecraft but with everything turned up to eleven. It's crazy and super awesome at the same time. That's why it's fun to have a vanilla and FTB at the same time, it's like day and night. :)

After examining your Xorg.0.log, it appears that Xorg is attempting to load the glx module with the nvidia drivers, and since you don't have an Nvidia card it's failing to load. Removing the Nvidia packages should solve your issue:
sudo apt-get purge nvidia-common nvidia-settings-319-updates ...

I don't wish to belabour the point, but this flag is designed exactly as the user text states, and it has always served that purpose very well in my experience.
It's opinion on the part of the OP.
When you create a custom flag, we have to stop and read what you said in your custom flag, and if it is a case where we should just delete an answer or convert it to a comment, we then must take the extra steps of opening the original question and then clicking a bunch of other things...
