@htorque this'll try to encode the string in utf8, and replace any broken characters with the unicode replacement character, rather than raising an exception
Instead of bug_numbers = [int(x) for x in data.split(" ")], write bug_numbers = (int(x) for x in data.split(" "))
if you make a habit of it, your programs will run faster
the second one is a "generator expression", which is like an iterator. it only evaluates each item as you request it, not all at once (lazy evaluation)
great, next problem: how do i deal with bugs with multiple tasks... i just wanted a list of bugs i reported and how their states are. kinda difficult to tell if there is one task "fix released", one "Unknown", and a third "Invalid". :D

I tried to google for site:irclogs.ubuntu.com +search-term but that doesn't seem to work reliably.
I'm not looking for a solution that fetches any of those files. :-)
