That is rather amusing.
After plugging away at my issue a couple of days, it looks like it's "fixed," at least visibly. You know, I really hate that vague sense of my own code as seemingly functional, but under the surface, a likely minefield of difficult to trace, mind-boggling errors and potentially catastrophe soft locks and crashes. How do programmers sleep at night?

Sadly it's just the time they're least critical of their own work, leading them to think they work best then. 😅 Check-in times after 5 PM correlate positively with bug introduction.

but 5pm is like slight overtime on a normal work day. The creative hobby development have a checkin time at 5am

yeah, I'm always amazed as well since usually I cant even remember that I wrote it. And it works as well. And than I need like one week of refactoring to understand what I actually did, why it works and how I managed to actually write that all in a time frame I can't remember/ should be able to finish it
