Even if the game shows 360 fps, those competitive games are likely capped at 40, 60 or 120 hz in terms of simulation... not sure there is a gain there.
"hope of getting an edge over their opponents" - we don't need facts here, just room for speculation, superstition & a way to justify the cost of over priced video cards.
Then under the circumstances, I'm going to let that one go - other things vying for my attention right now. Fixing up a cross post ranks pretty low on my current lists. Thanks for pointing that out.
