Probably. If you also wear red shoes, drive a filthy go-kart, live in The Pits and dream of someday riding a magnificent horse, you are definitely lurking.
I know some people who wear an additional sole in it for it to be comfortable (Dr Scholl's style). It's been a while I tried Converse on, so I can't remember how they fit.
I had Keens as winter boots, and Merrells as spring and fall shoes. In the summer I wear sandals, or happy colour shoes purchased at Old Navy (they'll die soon).
They're also very light & flexible. I had a much earlier version that was black & grey. Dark enough that I could get away with them for work. So in the winter, I wore boots to & from the office & would pack the shoes in my backpack & change as needed.
Was actually nice to not worry when it dumped snow because I had real boots with.
Not a problem now that I'm at home, but if I were to switch back, I would probably do something similar again.
@Pikalek yes. Per each level you gain, the maximum amount of xp needed to level up again. So to get to level 2 you need 25 xp, to get to level 3 you need 50, etc. Note your XP count is drained everytime you level ul, kinda like Pokemon.
The soft limit is 10, but there is no limit on how far you can level up.
I've found that I need an alternative thing to work on. Having something to switch off to gives me a way to refresh my enthusiasm. There's the cost of needing to context switch, but eventually I found something that works well me.
I actually did that for a while. I made a text RPG called "Avelaroar". It is set in the same universe as my main game i am working on, just in a different time and place.
It actually turned out pretty good. I put a link to a download for it here not long ago
You can turn it into a bullet hell game by making the pieces shoot more and adding upgrades. You can turn it into a puzzle game by making the ship immune to damage and adding an easy way to destroy pieces. I have no idea which one would be worth pursuing, but I can see that there are many possibilities.
@nwp Ok. I'm currently looking into other game modes. I'm thinking about a 2 or 5-minute caravan mode akin to Star Soldier; you'd get 2 (or 5) minutes, one life, and tougher enemies, and have to get the highest you can
I've got a graph filled with 'walkable' nodes that I want to generate waypoints for. I've searched for some articles on this but have come up empty-handed. There's over 2 million tiles (walkable nodes) in my graph that I have to find the shortest path to each for, so it seems like implementing wa...
