Okay, so in games that are RPGs or with RPG mechanics, there will be groups of objects that provide the same bonus. For example, a race can provide a bonus to a certain type of damage, as does a weapon, as does a class trait. Further (and more importantly) the same source can provide a variety of different bonuses. A class can provide an ability at a certain level, a stat bonus at another, and the before mentioned special damage bonus at yet another.

So avoiding making incredibly britial code one would hope to generisize that somehow. How does one even go about abstracting such a varied co…
