Sure @BFG95. So I would ask things like: - "Do you not feel comfortable telling me when you are mad?" - "Why is it that you won't tell me or show me that you're angry/annoyed with something I do until it truly upsets you and then we start arguing?" - "Why don't you like sharing your feelings with me?" - She would normally respond "I don't know" or "I don't know what you want me to say" to these type of questions. I thought that maybe it was me not asking the questions correctly and that's why she couldn't understand. OR that she actually doesn't feel comfortable discussing that w/me. — Oscar 31 secs ago

+1 Sometimes the answer to "how do I IPS this?" genuinely is "you don't IPS this, this cannot be IPSed - you rely on the system instead". Nothing the OP can say or do will change these peoples' minds, the best she can hope for is for HR to put a stop to it. Even then that will only stop them during working hours, when the day ends they'll be free to make their jokes elsewhere. — Pharap 27 secs ago

@apaul I'm not uncomfortable with it, I think the joke from the video was not about people being non-binary, it was his utter disbelief that someone would call him a man based on his appearance. I understand the some people are dealing with a serious "mal-être" (not sure how it translates) which comes from the only two labels male and female and have thus define others. I just don't agree when someone gets on his high morale horse to preach others about something that came recently came out. In France, the vast majority of people did not know about non-binary genders. — solalito 1 min ago

I don't think lying when you complain is getting things off to a good start. -1. "I don't find the quality early in the morning as good as later" Leads to the discussion that the first batch comes out the oven 30 minutes later ... don't get up so early. — UKMonkey 21 secs ago

@UKMonkey: Of course you can rate how you like - but how is that lying? OP states that he feels sometimes the bread they are selling is not always freshly baked - If he encounters such a case, he should be able to complain directly, culprit in hand, without condemning the work of the baker as a whole, don´t you think? — Daniel 1 min ago

"complain directly, culprit in hand" yes - i agree; but if the pattern has been picked up by the OP then why hide it? Maybe it IS a different baker who does the early morning shift. Your complaint phrase that you're suggesting is that this specific loaf when compared to yesterdays or the one before, isn't as good... and it's not true; and the baker will be thinking what's changed in recent days, rather than "First batch comes out at 10am and has done every day for the last 5 years". — UKMonkey 46 secs ago

@refbobby "A landlord can't tell a tenant where to put their belongings." Not sure why you say that. It's their property, so I find it reasonable. They decide what (part of property) they rent out and what conditions are. You agree or you don't. — Andrew Savinykh 1 min ago
