i hope this is just one of those things that got translated poorly - but how old is tommen supposed to be? he's joffrey's younger brother, and i got the impression originally that joffrey was 12-13 when the show started. and i feel like mention of that was made when they were talking about him not being old enough to be king right away

granted, for seasons 1 & 2, everyone mentions "months" when talking about how long the war has been going on, and then in s3, it's suddenly "years"

i get both sides of the argument. any art is personal - both to the artist and to the viewer. both bring their own lives and prejudices to a piece. moreover, what the artist sometimes intends isn't even what they end up creating - nevermind the personal interpretations of a finished piece.
