Also, the Twilight films/books deal explicitly with the difficulties in a human/vampire relationship and the world that vampires inhabit. It deals with it's concept.
Here's a little secret: Everything ever can be boiled down to make it not on-topic here. The decision we have to make is deciding where that cut off point is.
I place it at talking animals, because there are so many films that would on-topic that we don't want if we allowed them.
Realistically, the talking animals thing is just to stop a billion kids films and TV shows being on topic here. That isn't a risk we run with other things.
So I maintain that the litmus test of "If all the animals were human, would it still be science fiction or fantasy?" is the best we can do when it comes to films starring anthropomorphic animals.
Hell, a large part of how we decide what is and isn't on topic is purely "I know it when I see it".
For the record, I don't think I do want it anymore. In the interest of the site, I think we need to be more slightly more exclusive, and the "grey area" of things like spy-fi is the perfect place to start.
