@AnkitSharma But it isn't just a rule for rules sake. It may have started out as one, but over something like 50 years it's became an important part of who Batman is as a character, and an important part of multiple stories involving him.

It'd be like adapting Harry Potter, but at the end he pulls out a handgun and shoots Voldemort in the head.

It's a total misreading of what something is.

In spider man (1-3) they changed things a lot from comics, he was not jokey at all, bit too serious but it worked for me and i liked the franchise.

Adaptation changes sometime work sometime not. But i am not against them at all.
