@JackBNimble "We don't need Wells" - yeah, you just need his labs, supplies, and money, so you can build all the stuff and contain the meta-humans. But not Wells himself.
They better start working on the legal paper work to get Wells declared dead and make a fake will that gives the facility and everything else over to Caitlin and Cisco.
> Iris: You lied to be about being the Flash, about Wells murdering my boss, about all these meta humans, about my fiancee, about everything! > Barry: Well, uh, you told me you didn't have feeling for me
hope i have time to watch the finales next week. our taxi is coming at 4am next thursday, so we need to try to go to sleep at some stupid hour cutting into tv time
The only scenario in which not knowing would keep her safe is a case where she's harmed/kidnapped specifically because she knows. And I find that hard to envision.
If some villain starts rounding up everyone who knows The Flash's secret identity, he's going to have his hands full
@phantom42 I think the argument is, something like, if she knows, she will want to be more involved, and will potentially be seen with The Flash, and thus make herself a target.
except, she's already known as "that girl who knows The Flash", so she's already a target.
but yeah, 10 seconds of logic would tell you: if villain X knows Barry's identity, he's gonna kidnap Iris because he's close to her. If villain X doesn't know Barry's identity, he won't know to wonder if Iris does.
when they were in the room with the treadmill (and Kaitlyn/Cisco were listening in), she asked him about Eddie knowing and he said yea. she was miffed.
well it's hard to tell. the next crossover, where Joe goes over to Starling City, doesn't give much detail about when, other than it was after Laurel and her dad started fighting over Oliver
but even 1 week late seems out of sync, at least. Flash E18 should have happened before Arrow E16, IMO
In the Agents of SHIELD episode Scars (S02E20),
has a vision of a stone that keeps changing from liquid to solid and back again.
Jaiying explains
Is this stone an existing item or concept from the comics?
@Keen i had typed it out, and then went to double check the spelling, gotten the right one, and meant to go and fix it. then got interrupted by work. stupid work always getting in the way.
what happened to cal's brotherhood of evil enhanced people?
claiming there's two of them is the easy answer. though claiming they're a matching left/rightpair is stupid: there's only 6 gems, you can't possibly need both gauntlets~!
loki's already been shown to be in league with thanos (even if it's just through an intermediary) - thanos getting into asgard isn't a stretch
yeah, gunn said he was given a book of things he could put in there. maybe it should have come with some notes like, "hey, this is actually part of the infinity gauntlet storyline in the comics...maybe dont use this one"
@phantom42 Joe must have a catalog in his head of everyone who doesn't know Barry is the Flash. Which would be more impressive if the list couldn't fit on a post-it note.
regarding Cisco's "anti-Grodd" headband, my daughter and I were like "put it INSIDE" the Flash suit, not on the outside... it's just gonna fall off. And it fell off 3 times during the fight.
@phantom42 in the comics, he comes from a hidden city of intelligent apes in Africa. he tried to take over and they kicked him out.
@phantom42 he then used technology to further enhance himself
@phantom42 I think so, but it got hard to keep track a while back.
On the one hand, I'm glad the movie's going to have so many heroes, as that's kinda needed to make it a 'war'. On the other hand, I bet most of them will be little more than cameos.
phil should have been proposing "i'll sit down with them, and come to an understanding" and gonzalez should have been pushing the indexing as the agenda.
agreed. if it came down to SHIELD wanting to index vs. the Inhumans wanting to be left alone, I would have a hard time NOT siding with the Inhumans
'course, I'm a Libertarian so that's already a natural "line in the sand" for me
then again, Jiaying should have just put down her foot and said "No indexing, but maybe we can come to a compromise on the rest" or something. Faking an assassination to bring about war seems a bit much.
