I was a full-time student that went to a large state university, and I seemed to have a problem. I would sign up for 4 or 5 classes, and there would always be one professor that I knew I wanted to drop, but I had no alternative! Some professors have a lot of discretion in the material they cove...

I know empirically from my experience that some students regret signing up for various classes, whether it may be attributed to the professor or the syllabus.
