@MartinSleziak I want an advice, that I wrote this meta post but is it alright to let question 2 sit there or should I rather remove it as it digresses from the problem so better make it a separate question?
Also thank you for the re-tagging.
question 2 is regarding the re-location of "provide additional context".
@InanimateBeing TBH I don't see a problem in having two questions there. (And of course, a reasonable thing to do is to check whether a similar question hasn't already been asked in the past.)
You'll see whether somebody else responds here. (And you can ask elsewhere, too, if you wish - such as your room or Math Meta Chat.)
@InanimateBeing By "tagging" you probably mean pinging.
I consider pinging a particular user about something unrelated to them bad practice. (There might be some exceptional circumstances, but I don't think this is one of them.)
If you look at your room it is more active than mine. You have two users "frequently in the room" - my room only has one such user. :-)
The choice of room where to ask isn't clear-cut - it's not obvious what is the best choice.
If you ask in the main chatroom - that one is visited by many users, so many people will notice your message - but only for a short time. (Since many other messages will be posted in the same room during the next few hours.)
In rooms such as Math Meta Chat or Chit-Chat with IB, the message will remain among the most recent ones for longer time. At the same time, those rooms have much less visitors.
