@TYG Sorry that I did not respond for a long time. As you can see, there were some other discussions in this room - perhaps it is better if we continue elsewhere.
The advantage of using Modern Abstract Analysis chatroom (where one of the topics is functional analysis) is that other users who are interested in functional analysis are most likely to notice the discussion there.
The difference in the timezones means the we probably won't meet online at the same time that often. (And if we do, it's still possible that one of use might be busy.)
