A: Deleting questions with answers

user21820 I am prepared to bet a beer that while users have left for the bad quality of some questions, immensely more have come and remained for the good quality of our answers. My question is, precisely, how to weigh those two things. I posit that it is obvious that we do not have to 'weigh' or 'bal...

> If you have posted an answer that you feel is useful and cannot be found easily elsewhere, then you can simply copy it over to a good question (of your own), where you have the complete freedom to tailor the question perfectly to your answer.
> I shall also mention that what I am suggesting is not at all new; it has been done before many times and I unfortunately do not have the examples at the tip of my fingers.
I wish I had a better portfolio of such examples. However, I was not able to find many of them.
In the future I'll use tag when discussing something like this in chat, so most likely such question could be found by searching in crude for the words repost or re-post.
This approach was also discussed here in chat:

Good answers on poor questions

So here are some examples of questions which I reposted, since the original was closed or deleted:
Example of a topological space which is neither sequential nor $T_0$ - there is also a meta discussion linked in the comments.
That's about all I can think of from my posts.
Asaf Karagila mentioned his question in a comment in some discussion on meta: Subset of a finite set is finite
Maybe such examples can be useful if there is wider discussion about this on meta.
Of course, reposting is different from improving posts by other users.
I kind of promised to find examples of that some time ago. Maybe I'll get around to it - but that list won't be impressive either.

I would be glad to know a partial list (at least of ten posts) which has been undeleted or reopened by the CRUDE users. No need to respond to me here (if at all) I also visit the CRUDE room sometimes and so you can respond there also (if at all). — user 170039 42 mins ago

If needed, I can try to compile some list of reopening initiated by discussions in this room where I participated. Most likely it won't be too impressive, since the stuff which I initiate most often are duplicates and merging.

I wish I had longer list of examples, but at least the ones I was able to remember can be found here: https://chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/19138/2018/4/5
