@MartinSleziak I want to know if we have to be outstanding in a particular subject in order to become a moderator? For example, if someone wants to become a moderator on Literature.SE than does he need to be very well in Literature?

@Knight I assume you posted this here by mistake - there are definitely more suitable rooms for such question. (Maybe Mods' Office or Math Meta Chat.|

And perhaps this would be a suitable question also on meta - especially since the election are planned in the near future.

I have tried to check whether I am able to find something related to this topic on Mathematics Meta. It is not exactly that, these posts still seems somewhat related: What would be “recommended experience” for a person who wants to run for moderator?, MSE and meta.MSE as seen by moderators, How much experience should a potential moderator have?

I saw that you have recently asked about election in several chatrooms. So I guess you're considering running for a moderator position.

@MartinSleziak Hmmm.. which chat rooms? Marty, actaully, I’m inspired by you (I know you hate compliments) that you work here more than any mod but never wished to be super-power holder. I shall not ask why because I’m sure I will get no answer. And to be honest I’m not thinking of running for moderator.

@JyrkiLahtonen I am not sure to which extent this might be of interest to you. You posted an answer to this (now deleted) question: How we can deal with this equation $a^n+b^n=c^n$ if it was given to have solutions in primes numbers not integers numbers?. If you feel like that, you might repost that answer to my question: No solutions of $x^n+y^n=z^n$ such that $x$, $y$, $z$ are primes.

There is a minor change of notation (a,b,c vs. x,y,z), but otherwise it is basically the question you've answered there.
