Thanks @MartinSleziak Indeed that's was the first version I decided to post on MetaSE since I though it was a more general issue. After some editing and suggestion received I decided to post that on MetaMSE and indeed here it raised a more useful discussion on that topic. What could I do to avoid to be banning. I tried to delet the old version on MetaSE but it seems not possible. Thanks for you kind advice.

Well, deleting it would not help with the issue I mentioned - the question ban. (Deleted questions count towards question ban.)
I just wanted to make sure that posting several questions on Meta Stack Exchange which get heavily downvoted could lead to lowering the possibility of posting new question there.

@MartinSleziak Are you referring to MetaSE or MetaMSE?

> Note that the quality bans are disabled on all meta sites, regardless of whether the parent site has them enabled or not (with Meta Stack Exchange being the only exception).
@gimusi Meta Stack Exchange has question bans. It is impossible to get into question ban on Mathematics Meta.

@MartinSleziak Then, if I understand, I could be banned from MetaSE but not form MetaMSE. Sorry but maybe I'm a littel bit confused about that distinction.

@gimusi Yes, that's exactly right. (Here we are using word banned in the sense of automated ban, which is done by the software - unlike suspensions, which are done manually.)

@MartinSleziak To clarify better when you refer to the downvoting received do you refer only to the post on MetaSE or to all the Meta posts?

The exact algorithm that decides whether user should be question-banned is not publicly known. But I do not think that you're in trouble if you have only one question which was heavily downvoted. (I do not know whether you have some other question that were deleted.) Still, this is probably worth keeping in mind the next time you post a question on Meta Stack Exchange.
@gimusi When we are talking on question ban on Meta Stack Exchange, only downvotes, closed and deleted questions on Meta Stack Exchange play the role. How were your posts on other sites received does not matter for this purpose. (I hope I understood correctly that this is what you are asking in this message.)
And, of course, all your questions on Meta Stack Exchange are taken into account. (But probably you only posted the one linked above so far.)
Sorry for the digression - as I mentioned, I do not think that after one question you should be afraid of getting banned. But I thought it might be useful at least to know that possibility like this exists.

@MartinSleziak Yes sorry,my confusion was indeed on that distinction between Meta SE and Meta MSE. Now it should be clear. Yes on SE I only posted that OP.
@MartinSleziak Yes, thanks a lot as always for your kind advice. I appreciate your attention and time for that.
@MartinSleziak I experienced the alghoritmic banning recently for the flagging, I had to request to Mods to be unbanned. It should be something similar also for that.

I don't think that moderators can lift the question ban.
I did not know that it is possible for mods to lift the flagging ban either, but it seems that you have a first-hand experience with this. (In any case, the automatic ban from flagging is just temporary.)

@MartinSleziak Since it is related to my previous suggestion, do you think that this kind of discussion/digression are allowed on that chat or should we open another room in those cases? Or maybe someone else can move the discussion here in another place to keep the room cleaned from OT material?

TBH I am not sure what exactly you mean.
Do you mean that our exchange about possibility of question bans on MSE would be better moved elsewhere, so that the conversation in this room stays on topic? (Just as an example.)
This can be done by any room owner and by any moderator (in the case of this room all room owners are moderators). Since you quite often visit CRUDE, you have probably noticed that messages from that room are relatively often moved elsewhere.

@MartinSleziak Sorry Martin, I'm referring to the present discussion here.

I am perfectly fine if it is moved elsewhere. But as I mentioned, only moderators can move messages from this room. Since Math Meta Chat is relatively busy at the moment, if somebody wants to move the above exchange elsewhere, I would suggest my room as a possible target.

@close-deleteautomaton You left a comment on several rather old answers saying just: "Answer on a PSQ."

I think you have got a good reponse in the comments under Jyrki Lahtonen's answer. I will add also links to some relevant posts on meta: Is it good practice to analyse past questions by today standards? and Why close old questions with accepted answers using the “no context” reason?

@MartinSleziak I'm also fine, I'm wondering whether or not it is a disturb for the Mods or someone alse or otherwise it is well accepted. I'm simply asking for your advice on that.

Of course, you are perfectly entitled to cast your vote to close those questions (and even post the link to the question in CRUDE) if you consider that as the right course of action.

@MartinSleziak, @gimusi, Perhaps this conversation can be moved to the math meta chat room? Lengthy threads that don't immediately involve the need for moderator input, and "about" MSE, meta, etc make a nice fit in that chatroom.

Well, mods visit this room regularly - when some of the moderators comes here, they will probably notice our discussion and they'll decide whether or not to move it. But I wold not ping a mod just because of that - we can simply ask about this when some of the moderators is here.
@amWhy Yes, that sounds somewhat reasonable. Although there is a separate ongoing discussion on Math Meta Chat at the moment. Which is why I suggested a different room as a possible target.

@MartinSleziak re https://chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/message/47965602#47965602 I thought it helpful to remind a few users of when they started out but in reality I have no major issues with those questions or their answers. But I wonder if everybody here now, would be here if their activity was treated differently when they first started out.
Perhaps I should have a look at some of those posts when I have time.

Thanks for moving the messages, quid!

You are welcome.

And since exactly this was discussed today in CRUDE, I will mention that I got a chat invitation when the messages were moved. Similarly as in the previous experiment.
When my messages were moved today, the only time when I did not receive such an invitation only in one instance. In that case I was already present in the target room.

@MartinSleziak I did not intend for this (moving messages) to be a cumbersome task for anyone. Anyway, thanks, @MartinSleziak, @quid! I was mainly trying to steer back to "on topic" for the chat; moving the thread would have only been my suggestion if the thread was still "alive and in progress".
