I have recently seen the chat rooms on main sites in a few instances. I have also taken some screenshots.
Academia (October 26)
Mathematics (October 27, November 6)
MathOverflow (October 26, 27 and 31 and November 2)
Maybe they are now shown less frequently than they used to be. But this is difficult to verify - I do not know how some hard data on this could be found. (Only devs know the code which decides what to display there.) So this is just based on my own impression - which is, of course, subjective.
@rossipedia I have recently seen chatrooms in the sidebar a few times (next to a question on a main graduated site). I have even taken a few screenshots. So have some changes been made recently, Can this be now considered resolved? — Martin 37 secs ago
