Q: Now that c# is the only language supported by Unity, do we need to tag Unity questions with c#?

Alexandre VaillancourtIt's been around for a while: Boo and UnityScript have been removed from Unity. Now, the obvious is that issues with Unity will be tackled in c#. Also, the new Unity users may even not be aware that there was something other than c# in the past. Given the fact that the system seems to properl...

Hello!

hay

We got rid of our cubicles at work.

2:52 PM
:(
i really dislike open plan
o hay i'll be on our live stream next week talking about the legion changes I did
:)

Open floor plan?

Yeah, open floor, for now.
We're 4 devs, occupying a 4m x 8m place, so I think we win for now. We can see the light of the sun through the windows, which were blocked by those dusty walls.

Yeah, I could see that. Assuming I could get away with it, I would plop down a bunch of potted plants or something. Then again, my last gig also had the opposite problem - offices were scattered throughout the building like fruit in a muffin. No sense of intermediate cohesion. You had the building & your office.
Sunlight is nice - I lost my window when we reno'd. Even though it was small, it was still something.
Not sure I want to drop +10k for a replacement though.

Yeah, loosing a window is bad :(
No, you're right, money's always an issue.

It was that or like ~30sqft of deck. And the deck would have ended right along side the door - no buffer.
Yeah, it just irritates me, because if I could have just slide the window over 1 meter, it would have been fine.

3:05 PM
That's easier said than done :P

Yes :) Originally, it looked like we'd have the cake & eat it too. But either the plans had an error, or it got marked out wrong in the yard. And then all of the sudden, the builders were like "hey, the plan shows X - that would go over the top of this window.. is that what you wanted?" In the end, I'll probably leave it be.

Yeah. Then who made the plans? :P
@Almo When is it?

Architect.
@Almo Is the streaming part of your formal job description or do you do it because you like it?
