Aight so I've uploaded Windows & Linux Beta Builds of the workshop update to Steam, and I would really appreciate some feedback of the level editor and just information about the stability of the game. The workshop branch can be accessed with the password "WorkshopBetaPassword", so if someone has a few minutes on their hands, I'd really appreciate if you could check it out.

@Tyyppi_77 I'll try to spend some time with it during the weekend. Do you know if I could play the game with a Logitech gamepad?

user92578
I use a Logitech game pad myself so I think so, yeah!

@Tyyppi_77 All right; that's the one I have the easiest access to, the others are kind of buried in a locker.
It's old, but we'll see.

:D

Am I dumb if I plan to set up all my network related devices on a shelf in the laundry room?

@AlexandreVaillancourt not sure.
maybe excess lint from the dryer will gum up the works sooner than you would expect
but other than that, if it's not picking up a lot of excess vibration depending on the stability of the shelf, I think it would be fine

@Almo Yeah, my concern was about the humidity, but the lint part is a good point to take into consideration.

@AlexandreVaillancourt does your dryer not vent to the outdoors?

@Pikalek Yes, but sometimes we hang some clothes to dry them, such as merino wool socks or some all-polyester sports shirts.

@Tyyppi_77 I dont' understand how to get the beta build

@Jimmy Go to the properties of the game, from the Steam library, and there is a textbox where you can enter the code
You can then change the version from the dropdown list.
Well that's what I did earlier today. I did not have the chance to test it yet.

it's pretty fun
it'd be nice if it was clear what layer the items are being added on
like I can't tell which are background/middle/foreground items
also, it might be good to just start off on a blank map instead of (no map) so the user doesn't have to click [new]
or if you want a null map, hide all the UI other than [new] so they don't spend a minute like I did clicking around the UI wondering why nothing could be placed

7:51 PM
can't figure out how to add an exit either

@Jimmy oh yeah sorry I have a steam guide written that helps with that stuff but its not released yet, i guess if one is familliar with the game one might realize that trucks are exits

user92578
@Jimmy good idea!

user92578
the layering is really messy, like there are 20 something layers, but I'll try to come up with something

user92578
I really appreciate the feedback!

user92578
thanks for taking the time to do this
