Q: Was Michael Fassbender actually under the head for most of the movie?

dtcm840In Frank (2014), the titular character Frank wears a big fake head for most of the movie. Is it Michael Fassbender who's under that head most of the movie? Or did he just act in the scenes in the last 15 min of the movie?

Q: Why was the fire/scarring angle not pursued in Memories of Murder?

RoymunsonWhile in real life, the investigation was not solved for a very long time, in the film there was 1 conclusive lead that wasn't pursued. When shown a picture of Park Hyeon-gyu, the restaurant owner's son (the one with the scarring) heavily implies that Hyeon-guy was the person who scarred him whe...

Q: Did Bruno Ganz know Greek language?

PeymanBruno Ganz was a Swiss actor who acted in many German and English movies. He also acted in the Greek movie Eternity and a Day as the main actor. I'm wondering if he learned a new language just to act in this movie. Did he learn/know Greek or did he just say the dialogue without understanding th...

Q: Why doesn't Hollywood hire well-known voice-actors/actresses instead of well-known actors/actresses to voice-act animations?

aminabzzThere are many voice-actors who are just voice-actors and they are very experienced and talented in it with so many types of voices they can produce (such as old voice-actors like Tara Strong, Jim Cummings, etc. and some newer talented voice actors.) Why is Hollywood ignoring the opportunity to ...

Jordan LawsonI am a sixteen year old high school student and due to current circumstances I have no option but to see some movie after days long stretches of studying college courses in maths. So, I am looking for some movies that are refreshing yet have some humour. Sorry, if I went off track but my lack of...

@MovieReel wtf is that tag
And who can possibly stand to think enough about Movie 43 to have a question about it.

auto complete pretty sure

When I think "I wanna watch a movie", what comes to my mind first is I want a lighthearted enjoyable piece of comedy, but I end up watching something brutal and heavy-handed instead
So I dunno, that might not be a real feeling.
But if you wanna feel happy after a movie, go watch Wes Andreson or Edgar Wright movies

Q: How much does Lemony Snicket know while telling "A Series of Unfortunate Events"?

DudeWhoWantsToLearnAs I was watching A Series of Unfortunate Events on Netflix again, I wondered about how much Lemony Snicket is aware of future events while telling the individual stories. Lemony breaks the fourth wall and tells the story of the Baudelaire in the past. But is the past like "Book 1 happens and L...

@M.A.R. JOJO RABBIT
I almost cried while watching that!
also while watching 1920; it was spooky too

@ankii Not heavy-handed, that one, but Taika's humor is unique
It's the most repetitive plot, but he managed to make it refreshing enough
I don't think anyone else could have done that. You need a unique touch to go back to that topic

@M.A.R. I replied to the feel happy message

That's a twisted definition of happy O.o

in the start too
I felt happy in the end

Maybe you don't feel the bitter in the bittersweet and it's just my reflux

I don't remember if I watched it on sped up mode :p

Q: Is there a hidden joke on the spacesuits in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me?

J. MiniOn Dr. Evil's spacesuits in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me we can see a list of chemicals. The first two are obviously water and oxygen. But the final one, P^2 is not the notation for any chemical that I know of. "Pee squared" doesn't sound like something that I'd want in a spacesuit. Is i...

Q: To what does Yojimbo refer?

Jason P SallingerNowhere in the subtitles is Yojimbo mentioned, except for the title of the movie. The ronin says his name is "30-year old Mulberry field", and we are meant to know this is an alias, of the moment. The Wikipedia page does not draw a reference to this name, until several sequels later. As a stan...

@AnkitSharma i always assumed the plot was sorta on the weird side because from my understanding the series is time travel hijinks
still, from what others have told me, any time travel weirdness is offset by how cute Ava and Sara are together and from out of context gifs i would agree
