Suicide Squad is Snyder's, right? It's probably the only Snyder movie I haven't watched. A common theme in all of his movies (probably) is he's like the guy trying to build a house of cards, and by the time the movie's finished, the house is unfinished, and looks horrible to a degree that you want to just nudge and ruin the whole thing.

Why diversity needed: for a trans kid's father to be ready for what is coming, so he don't hospitalised when reveletion happen. Diversity is important for a rural palce people who should knwo women can self sustain and don't need to be killed by dumping in hot milk. Diversity is needed to know being gay is normal so teen kids don't get thrown out of there own hosues.

It's 'pushing a political agenda' if a significant portion of people disagree with it, and 'demonstrating the better/uglier part of our culture' if most people agree with it.

And it's when a movie is able to freely express ideas about the nice change you're trying to make.

But at the moment, it'd miss its mark, simply because it's going to drown in useless overbeaten debates that cast a shadow over not only the message, but the artistic value of the movie.

@Tinkeringbell ahah, you remind me of my roommate. I asked whether he'd liked to come with a friend and I to watch Endgame, and he came. Upon leaving the theater though, while discussing the thing, he casually said he had only seen IW and one or two MCU movies. And that superhero stuff wasn't really his thing
