There are hints in 2014 Irish movie Calvary that the barman murdered Father James's dog, as explained in this question.
Why would the barman do this? I did not notice prior to this event indications that he held any grudges.
Like DR Congo (Formerly Zaire; participated in Miss Universe in the 80s then withdrew), Lesotho, Malawi, Liberia, Côte d'Ivoire (participated in Miss Universe 1986 then withdrew), Uganda, Seychelles and so on.
These countries, nowadays participate in Miss World pageant but not in Miss Universe. D...

First let's talk about Hang the DJ:
Here you have to go through 1000 simulations to check compatibility but the twist is that the system will always try to separate you in one way or another and the right way to rebel against system is to prove your compatibility which Frank and Amy did 998 time...
The intro to Breaking Bad is very short - how was this negotiated? Usually, and especially for more popular shows (in the later seasons), shows have relatively long intros.
Breaking Bad's is about 18 seconds, only credits the Creator, Vince Gilligan.
I was wondering how common such short intro...
John wick has a fortis furtuna adiuvat tattoo on his back and in the nightclub scene he is seen wearing his watch inside like military personnel.
Coincidence? Or is he ex military.
An ideal answer would be one qouting the director or other cast and crew.if they ever said something about it.
On average, what percentage of a 3D movie's box office comes from the 3D tickets?
I'm trying to calculate how much Star Wars The Force Awakens would have made in North America if all the tickets were normally-priced. I'm assuming normal tickets to cost 10$ and 3D tickets to cost 15$ on average. ...
hmm maybe I should elaborate my question: there is a scene in Family Guy, where Stewie has made a music video. I am highly suspecting that the clip is a reference to something. So I wanted to ask a question about that
In Family Guy S07E07, Stewie makes a music video for Everything I Do, I Do It For You:
I have a suspicion that all these clips are references to something.
Are they, and if so, to what are they references?
In a couple of previous discussions it seems that Music Video questions are a very grey area, and indicated here and here.
I recently came up with a question about a music video I had watched. The music video was The Offspring's video Hammerhead (will add video link when I can). In this video ...
I'm not sure would a music video quite fit in with the theme Movies and TV but then again there isn't another site I could see that would be more related.
So I'm wondering is this site the best for asking about music videos?
If not then which Stack Exchange site would be best?

I recently came across an article about a "friends" fanatic who spotted a mistake in the first episode of friends.
The mistake-Pheobe is shown at two places simultaneously .
Was that a mistake or Pheobes twin Ursula?

La casa de papel is a spanish series that was first aired in 2 parts of 9 and 6 episodes.

Well, music video identification has long been off-topic indeed. I guess the question is some kind of edge-case.
I don't even know what the video contains anyway. References to other music videos? References to other films? Or references to other Family Guy events?
But on the bottom line, it's more of a specific "explain this joke" question about Family Guy, which should be fine.
At the beginning of Blade Runner 2049, when K visits Sapper Morton's farm, there is a shot that shows what looks like a greenhouse with Cyrillic characters on it.
From what I understand, that text reads tsielina, which means "new soil" (and sounds a lot like dr. Stelline's name, but that may b...
In The Shape of Water, Elisa is an orphan, found near a river. She's mute, and has gill-like scars in her neck. At the end of the movie, the Amphibean Man heals her scars, and they turn to gills. Both live happily ever after.
Now, I assume Guillerme del Toro made this point purposefully cloudy, ...
In one of the final episodes of the Friends TV series, there is a scene where Monica and Chandler take Joey to visit the new house they are buying. There is a conversation between them like this:
Monica: Now that you're okay with the house, do you wanna go see your room?
Joey: What? I ge...
so had this strange dream last night. it was an episode of *Person of Interest* (odd considering that i didn't see it since Thursday). Reese arrives and finds at Finch's desk a young girl playing on his computer with this bloody sword as big as her next to her. Finch explains that last night the girl (Yuri) number came up just as she arrived at the front door and apparently the reason was that she was being stalked and was about to be raped but she "heard Ella" warn her and killed the guy stalking her (who was a serial pedophile).
and if my dreams weren't weird enough already, for the most part it felt like i was Yuri
not Mary Suing it but rather when there was a decision i felt like i was making Yuri made it
like rummaging though Reese's collection of guns, pulling them apart and creating a Gun Blade for him (which he never used)
@NapoleonWilson yeh i was thinking she might have been Root considering that thrusday's episode was when Root first showed up. though Yuri wasn't psychotic, just anti-social
