@Tinkeringbell I got one too, will get another tomorrow, it's for making a new post in a site where you didn't posted yet and stayed +3 or something for three days

Hello together. I would like to ask a question: Is Movie&TV the right place to ask about story elements in video games, and if not, is there currently a group where it is on-topic? Arquade looks really more like about the gameplay, not the story itself.
Not that I'm interested in asking anything about a game right now, but I recently heard that a video game became eligible to receive an Oscar. It just made me wonder if this community would eventually open up to receive questions about games that almost work as a movie. In fact there are a few ga...
I think we should operate a simple rule;
If a question is about a horror work that contains some element of science fiction or fantasy (anything supernatural) then it's on-topic and fine to stay.
If a question is about a horror work that has no discernible elements of science fiction or fantasy...
As an occasional consumer of Halo books/games, I'm often curious about certain plot points or want to ask questions about that game's universe. Would this be the appropriate site for these questions? Or is gaming.stackexchange.com the appropriate site? Or is this an area of overlap where both wou...
The Evil Within 2 is a third-person survival horror video game developed by Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda Softworks for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game was released worldwide in October 2017 and is the sequel to the 2014 video game The Evil Within. The game was met with generally positive reviews, with the consensus agreeing that it was a superior game to its predecessor.

@AnkitSharma Well, they were totally ground breaking for it's time! They actually created the special effects/make up Oscar because of that movie. Rick Baker was the first recipient of that award! No...the sequel totally sucks.
I'm trying to rep cap today. I need to answer some more stuff or something. Argh!
In Justice League S02E23 aka Comfort and Joy, we see all the heroes celebrate Christmas in their own ways and J'onn J'onzz AKA Martian Manhunter learn about the Earth's festival.
But it ends with J'onn J'onzz singing a hauntingly beautiful song in his native language. Is it ever addressed what t...
In Black Mirror Christmas special episode 'White Christmas', why they have to go on this extent to make Joe accept his crimes?
They were able to make her cookie, doesn't that allow them to access his memories too? Or it was for getting confession due to legalities?
With the upcoming wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, royal weddings and lines of succession are being discussed again. This makes me wonder about lines of succession and providing heirs to the throne in a monarchy.
I vaguely recall a discussion about Kate Middleton needing to go through...
I think I saw the second half of this movie a couple of years ago when it aired on TV on a Belgian channel. The movie was in color and couldn't have been that old.
Here's what I think happened in the first part:
Because of something the earth is covered in dense clouds, the sun can't reach the...
Deleting most of my comments, since you responded. Sorry, I'm probably still pretty salty about that "no-catch" review from Sunday's game and taking it out on everyone, online. — PoloHoleSet9 mins ago
LOL another steelerfan commented on @steelersquirrel's post
I watched a water purifier commercial of the company Aquaguard recently. In that commercial, a science teacher assigns an experiment to students. It is about students bringing a plant to school after some days of observation to show the growth of the plant. All the students bring their plants but...
@NapoleonWilson Hey, just wanted to give you a heads up. I created a meta here about that question. Hoping you/others can chime in, quite frustrated right now.
I recently asked this question a few days ago, asking for some help identifying this movie, for which I had a very vague memory. That scene I felt was unique enough for it to be identified, and even did about 15 minutes of google searching for it before I asked the question.
Things like "body ba...
Did I miss anything? Did President Kirkman ever nominate a new Vice President to replace Peter MacLeish? I don't recall anything being said about that.
@FrankerZ Hey there! I can completely understand your frustration. I get frustrated about the kind of scrutiny surrounding ID questions as well. Our ID penalties are rather inconsistent here and that's another reason why most users just want to do away with them. I'm sorry for your frustration. I have been there, trust me! Please don't let this deter you from our site :)
Like I mentioned in the post, if the rules were less stringent, I could have avoided the question all together (As the other questions wouldn't have been closed/deleted). I can understand the need for some type of structure for the Identify-this-X questions, but I edited my post, and provided the missing information. My memory wasn't good, but I was being punished for it.
Paulie quickly voted to close my answer, because at that time the additional information (Color/Black and White, year) were missing, but after edit, I feel the question shouldn't have been closed. Really hoping others can chime in as well.
Yeah...I understand your frustration and I apologize if you feel that you were punished for your lack of memory. The majority of the users here just heavily scrutinize ID questions. I don't agree with it most of the time, but unfortunately, a lot of users see ID and just jump on the closing band wagon. Hopefully this can be resolved :)
@FrankerZ You're preaching to the choir. I understand ;)
@FrankerZ Did you read Napoleon's answer to the meta regarding ID?
Hopefully this will help you to understand why they are so heavily scrutinized :)
I have addressed the tremendous problem these questions pose on the health of this site in this previous question before (which with its many links might also be a good starting point for related reading for anyone not too familiar with the long "tradition" this issue has on our meta site), but I...
In the latest two Star Wars episodes, the term Resistance has been introduced. But at times in each of these movies, it seems to be used interchangeably with 'the Rebellion'.
What is the difference between these two terms?
@steelersquirrel another issue is that some people just look at it, see that it's ID, and just VTC it without reading it. @FrankerZ I've nominated for reopening
@FrankerZ yup, that's my handy work :-D, well the overall discussion in general is, that post is specifically @NapoleonWilson's work
@DForck42 Exactly! I'm glad that I'm not the only one who sees it. Well, I know that Ankit and Napoleon see it, but that's one of the main reasons that I just want to get rid of ID. The inconsistency that it causes ;)
Everyone jumps on the bandwagon when they see one close vote. ;-(
I nominated for re-opening as well. It seems to meet the criteria for on-topic ID.
They seem like they're a lot more work this year. I'm totally exhausted from it ;)
I should be receiving my Dany hat at 1:45am PST. But, I need to work to get more rep on lit and politics. Now I am hunting for a -3 question to answer without it sounding like complete bs ;)
well if one of them can explain what a class is because i don't get the description on Meta
> Make your first post of a class (question or answer) on a SE site and get a score of 3 or more lasting 3 days.
it can't be just "post a question or answer with a score of +3 or more and not have it drop bellow +3 for 3 days" otherwise i would have gotten it here for my Nightmare Before Christmas question
or way more relevant this question which i posted to get a hat
