Either that or it's some DVD extra. So you'll just have to buy the DVDs. ;)
I am seeking a show that was a nightclub. The first episode was that the girls came by bus to the club. Then one client wanted to have sex with one but she refused. What upset the boss. In the forefront of the show was the passage where the girl dancing on the tube. I still do not remember ...
Ok so there's an old tv show that I use to watch when I was between the ages of 5-8 so that means it was during the years of 2006-2007 i think. It was a Spanish show that would come on on the Boomerang channel around 10-12 o'clock I believe and I don't have a very vivid description since this was...
@NapoleonWilson Well, it doesn't particularly upset me that people are rehashing that stuff in here. But indeed, there doesn't seem to be much point in doing so, especially when the people doing the rehashing aren't fully informed.
For the record, I've had private chats with both CMs and Puzzling mods about these issues in the past, and been assured both that the "can't run for election if you've been suspended" rule doesn't apply to pro-tem nominations and that the "extenuating circumstances" exception explicitly noted in the rule should apply in my case.
Not sure if that's enough to settle the gossip/speculation. cc @Riker @steeler
I've been to watch No COuntry For Olden Men again, and about 1 hour and 25 minutes into the movie is the scene where Chigurh confronts Carson.
After their small talk, Chigurh shoots Carson and answers the phone to talk to Llewelyn. During the phone call Chigurh's eyes begin to tear up alittle bi...
@TopicChallengeSuggestion If you did one more spelling mistake by replacing o with u, sentence would have totally changed.
@AnkitSharma sounds like a horror movie.
@Riker Did you replace kek with lel?

I cant remember the name but the hero got engaged to girl after winning a competition like rama. The 2nd protagonist too has some powers. His powers is defending. It is a sci fi world with plot similiar to Ramanya.it was on TV in around 2006-2010.
I can't remember almost anything about this movie.
Film genre: Probably a thriller (or mystery? idk)
Year of release: I was really young at the time, so maybe around 2000 to 2009
Language: Definitely english (probably from USA)
Characters: So from what I can remember, the protagonist was a bl...
@AJ Especially when he tells us to "calm down" which just irritates me, because when he has told me that, I am not even worked up...most of the time ;)
@Randal'Thor How come you cc'd me on this? I was trying to change the topic. It seems that every time I suggest you as mod on literature, someone ALWAYS brings up the suspension thing, which is unfortunate. I'm sorry if you thought that I was gossiping. I honestly didn't know that my saying that you should nominate yourself for mod over there would bring up the past every time :(
I recall seeing a TV series featuring paranormal or occult investigators. I only watched a Chinese dub of this show, so I never learned the original name.
I believe it had noir-esque narration.
The tone was much darker than Scooby Doo or Ghostbusters.
The characters were drawn in realistic prop...
I watched a cartoon series in the early- to mid-1990's featuring a war between barnyard animals.
The war took place on the farm.
The animals flew around in airplanes.
The series had a McDonald's tie-in with Happy Meal toys.
I believe the pigs were the main protagonists, but they might have been...
Many characters in Amelie (2001) share terribly bright green eye color
I have that backbone feeling that there is a pattern I can't get a grasp of, and couldn't find any explanation on the internet. What's the story behind it? Does director tell something by that?
I flew the bus in the
Movie through downtown LA .. the building and sign were CG ...
The rest was very real !
It weighed 15,000 lbs ... and avery challenging scenes...
Can't believe they let us have that much fun!!

JOHN HURT WEEK
Due to the recent passing of actor John Hurt on January 27, 2017, I propose a weekly challenge honoring his television and film career which spanned over 50 years.
Mr. Hurt was a twice Oscar nominated actor as well as a Golden Globe winner.
He also starred in several popular fil...
In The Sixth Sense, Malcolm and his wife discover an intruder in their home to be one of Malcolm's former patients, Vincent Grey.
Vincent is standing in Malcolm's bathroom dressed only in his underwear to confront Malcolm.
We see Vincent's clothes on the bathroom floor, so he removed them aft...
I thought that it might have some significance because there is a scene where Cole is in his underwear in the bathroom right before he is visited by a ghost...
@AJ Oh, God. I wouldn't think so. It's the same as seeing a man in swim shorts or something. It's not like he is naked ;)
I just watched that movie when I woke up and just noticed that they show his pile of clothes on the bathroom floor, so there has to be a reason why he took his clothes off...I mean, they made a point to show us his pile of clothes. I have seen that movie a million times and never noticed that before.
@steelersquirrel I was thinking of getting two types of lenses for my spectacles. One with UV400 and another is UV1200. Would it be unhealthful for my eyes to wear both of them at separate times? Like when I am working, I can wear UV1200 one. Rest I can wear UV400 one.
@AJ No. It shouldn't be unhealthy. I know a lot of people that wear different types, especially if they stare at a computer screen all day. It's not uncommon at all for people to switch them out like that. Of course, you would need to check with your Doctor to be sure, though.
I have always been lucky to have never needed glasses. I always wanted glasses and braces when I was a kid. I was born with perfect eyesight and straight teeth. But, I always wanted braces and glasses when I was younger. I was weird.
If that is chosen, it could be pretty popular, given that he was in Harry Potter as well as Hellboy, Snowpiercer, V for Vendetta, Indiana Jones and stuff!
I was just responding to Walt's comment on my question.
I guess it's just the behavior of someone mentally unstable, even childish (like Cole going to the bathroom at night in his underwear later on). — Walt5 mins ago
Kids themselves get shrunk by a machine When baseball hit the button on machines.
There is no involvement of "Wayne Szalinski" here.
Why The Title called "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" ?
In The Nightmare Before Christmas, a cop says these words to the town citizens:
it looks like Christmas will have to be canceled this year.
How can a festival can be canceled ?
I didn't understand the cop's words here.
I saw the film 10 Things I Hate About You. The plot is about Patrick Verona getting paid to love Kat so Cameron James can date Bianca Stratford.
But I don't understand why this title was given to this film.
Oh, Wow. I didn't even notice that Patrick's last name was Verona! Another Shakespeare reference! I wonder if Kat and Bianca's last name of Stratford is another one, seeing how Shakespeare was born at Stratford upon Avon. Cool!

In 10 Things I Hate About You, Kat's poem titled '10 Things I Hate About You':
I hate the way you talk to me
And the way you cut your hair
I hate the way you drive my car
I hate it when you stare
I hate your big dumb combat boots
And the way you read my mind
I hate you so much ...
Oh, cool! I didn't see that one. Not that I know anything about Marvel stuff...
Someone made a meta post about John Hurt passing away over on sci-fi. I was going to sneak a link to my ToW challenge proposal...but, I decided against it ;)
In The Dark Knight, Batman did cause Joker to fall from a building but he saved him from falling in the end.
But in Tim Burton's Batman, Batman was the one solely responsible for Joker's fall.
Both scene have some parallels as initially Batman caused the fall which even looked similar but i...
Om Puri worked in Hollywood films too Wolf, The Ghost and the Darkness etc etc British/French film - City of Joy British TV show The Jewel in the Crown British film - East Is East Canadian film - Such a Long Journey
Interesting question (edited some stuff). Also note that the grapple gun plays a key part in both (and it hits the joker's leg in both scenes, though to a reverse effect). — Walt21 mins ago
I'm looking for a movie that i watched part of it long time ago..
The part that i watched is in some laboratory, where there are alot of rabbits. Some scientist is testing hormones on those rabbits, he injects hormone in one rabbit, while there is some girl in front of the cage, showing him boobs...
@steelersquirrel I wasn't accusing you of gossiping, just pinging you since you were involved in that discussion. Sorry if you took it the wrong way! If anything, you can use it as ammunition to shut people up the next time they bring that stuff up ;-)
I've just finished watching the first two seasons. Dexter's character seems very inconsistent -
On one hand, he's supposed to be the classic psychopath, completely devoid of feelings/emotions himself and incapable of understanding other people's feelings (as is evident from his conversations wi...

Only reason I realised it was Chinese New Year today is because I have a troupe of Dragon dancers performing outside my window. That's not something you see on a suburban English high street...ever!
@NapoleonWilson You didn't even know that January 21st was squirrel appreciation day!! OMG!! How could you miss such an important day? You didn't even appreciate your squirrel on the 21st! Pfft! :P
I recall seeing a computer animated film from Japan or Korea featuring a giant worm-like robot.
The robot resembled the sand creature from Dune, but was made from metal.
People lived in a place safe from the robot's attacks, but in poverty. The robot seemed to have them surrounded.
The robot's ...
@steelersquirrel It is the more realistic ending. Although I like The Dark Knight Rises a lot too
slightly tangential: if you're into nolan's batman and if you're into psychedelic stuff I recommend reading Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth.
Please help. I can't remember what movie this is. It starts out with a boy riding his bike to a grocery type store looking for tomatoes (I think). He then goes down into the basement looking for them but falls down the stairs. He then wakes up and he's in this weird dream like world with wrestler...
In The Next Three Days, after Lara gets taken to jail, we see that her little son Luke refuses her in every scene up until the very end. What is the reason for his behavioral change?
I need to know the name of a movie I saw a long time ago. I believe it was a Japanese anime movie. I remember it was about a schoolgirl who is constantly getting bullied. She goes onto this website that claims to help with bullies, she asks for help, but she doesn't get a response. She gets fed u...
In the Band Of Brothers (HBO TV series) episode "Why We Fight" there is a plotline about the liberation of a concentration camp. There are many (highly disturbing) scenes showing portrayals of individuals that are extremely emaciated due to the appalling conditions found in such a ghastly place....
@Paulie_D Thank you for providing a proper answer to that question! ^^
I always like to go through older questions and provide nice answers if there are not answers already provided that meet certain standards. I totally missed that question! Wow. Great question, too!
