I've added two to to my question movies.stackexchange.com/q/66687/9382
Are they appropriate?
Does the question need any other tags?
@AnkitSharma I added more info on my Friday the 13th answer...I hope that it gives you all of the info.
It answered the question that I asked yesterday as well...I just don't want to self answer a question this early.
@SQB I have no idea. Ask @NapoleonWilson ;)
@steelersquirrel looks good
@steelersquirrel whatever you seems appropriate
Oh, wow! It's already Napoleon's birthday!!! ;)
20:41
Yeah in India
Time to sleep. Good night all

@steelersquirrel conga rat ululations!
@steelersquirrel but it's still the 14th here.
You really need a dual clock. Like a secret spy room, with clocks labeled San Francisco and Berlin.
@steelersquirrel Really?! At last, a legitimate excuse to use this!

Happy Birthday!!!

It's January 14 here, nearing 10 pm. And I do believe Christian is in the same time zone as I am.
So it either has been good birthday for over 20 hours now, or he still has to wait for two hours before he gets your birthday gift.
You got him a present, right?
20:58
@SQB Er...I am planning to jump out of a cake at his place at 12am! You just ruined the surprise! :P
@SQB His Birthday is on 1/15. Mine is 10/15. Coincidence?...I call it fate ;)
@Walt HAHAHAHA!!! THAT.IS.AWESOME!

@steelersquirrel I said nothing. You just did it.
@steelersquirrel also, @NapoleonWilson, get out! She's calling from inside the house cake!
@Walt No, not really, it's tomorrow actually. ;-)
@SQB HAHAHAHAHA!!! OMG!!!

SeanDoes anyone know the following movie... There's a school/college reunion and the character meets an old friend. the friend was the wee brother of a popular football star. movie ends with the two friends going to the big brothers funeral I'm sure the actual plot of the movie is a flashback to t...

Q: Why Hollywood movies show Indian characters with Muslim names?

unmanned_playerActually, the question can be much broader. Why is non American person shown with an Americanised stereotype? For example, an Australian is shown as boisterous, a Nordic is generally always in party mode. But then again, I'm an Indian so I'll limit my question to just the Indian side since I can ...

Q: Film where girl dies at childbirth

DoraI am not sure whether this film was from 80s or 90s but do remember several scenes... The couple was either homeless or very poor and the girl was pregnant. I also think she had a very problematic pregnancy. The scene I remember the most is the two of them crossing a bridge and then starting to s...

Q: What kind of gun does the hitman use in X-Files S05E02 Redux II?

sanpacoThe syndicate hires a hitman in S05E02 of The X-Files to take out... someone. It is teased throughout the episode whether he is hired to kill Cancer Man or Mulder or possibly someone else. We see him poised with his weapon as Mulder and Cancer Man meet on the street. He clearly has a sniper setu...

Q: The comedian Rhyming style?

cdeA reoccurring theme in movies and tv shows is someone attempting to rhyme in a comedic style, with the same song playing. It typically has one part where the comedian is stuck, at a loss for words, and a bystander helps them finish the rhyme. This is seen in Hercules the Legendary Journey's "Str...

Another 2 immediate down vote. Mods refuse to investigate. Not suspicious at all.
The mods don't know anything about it to begin with, other than some strange huffy comments under posts that weren't actually downvoted.
Nothing "suspicious" about that really.
The gun answer was down voted. Check the history. The recent question was immediately down voted.
Sometimes stuff just gets downvoted because, well, it's crap. Noone is immune to people downvoting their stuff.
funny how every one of my posts are down voted within minutes.
23:10
Though, noone denies that people are humans and might sometimes downvote for less than objective reasons. In those cases, what they'll really love is huffy "f--k you downvoter!" comments. ;-)
But somehow my comment asking why is deleted immediately as well
Not saying that's right of them to downvote in that case, but it isn't particularly ununderstandable either, knowing the human nature.
oh, you saw that, but not the edited version? Yet you didn't see the down vote?
how selective vision you have grandma
@Passerby It's not really that funny, especially the drama it entails.
@Passerby I only saw a flagged comment, checked the vote history and saw a +/-0.

Q: Identify this 80s Movie

ATLJokerI was a wee lad, and it was in the late 80s. I remember a scene where a guy is either a student or pretending to be one. He was at a party and ducks away for some reason. He is sitting and a woman walks in. He says he has a headache and is looking for some meds. The woman is foreign. I think she ...

23:13
so flagged, and you checked by the time you looked at it, it was still the original unedited one and not the fixed one, but the down vote was removed, and you didn't delete it until after it was edited? wow. how contrite.
@Passerby Because it was flagged by multiple people. And while those flags were declined, the moderators agreed that it was a less than constructive comment.
multiple people. right.
@Passerby Yes, more than 1 (one), and neither of those were me or any other moderator.
sure sure
@Passerby Um, seriously dude, I have zero idea what you're arguing about here. I saw a flagged comment that said "Oh down voter, whatever could be the reason...", deleted it, then checked the vote history immediately after.
I don't know about any edited versions.
23:16
@NapoleonWilson Really, cause you quoted the original version...
Unless you want to tell me that comment actually read way worse before. In that case, be happy I didn't see that version and there's no comment edit history.
But that might explain why it was flagged as "offensive" rather than "not constructive".
uhhuh
right
@Passerby Wut? Well, call that a coincidence. I made that up on the spot, believe me or not.
But it's nice of you to tell me, since that's exactly what you have been notified about before.
coincidence, is that what you call it?
Hah! There's indeed a comment edit history. I totally forgot they added that rather recently.
Heh! It's indeed exactly my words. Well, now I regret dismissing those flags. But it's certainly good to know.
@Passerby Yes, a hell of a coincidence. But a good one, otherwise this might have totally slipped by.
And the answer was deleted, meesa be wonders why. ;-)
23:21
Because why would i keep an answer that gets down voted
It...uh...isn't downvoted at all. But whatever, it doesn't have a positive score either and is redundant. So do what you please with it.
Why would I ask why it was down voted if it wasn't down voted then?
are you actually seeing a downvote on this answer or did the downvoter undownvote at some point?
@Ixrec My guess is the downvote (which I believe him existed at some point) was just reverted shortly after.
Maybe people were scared of being told to fuck themselves.
A single downvote does not a bad answer make.
23:31
Neither does it a serial downvoter make.
As long as no one is accusing me of being a serial downvoter, I don't really care. You can check out my voting history... I keep it simple to read by never... ok, rarely.. voting.
I rarely even bother to DV crappy ID.

kevcomreal long shot I saw a movie when I was a kid early 90s I just remember a scene where a group of men confront a shape-shifting alien/creature disguised as one of there friends it must take their memories because they were making it remember when said friend was electrocuted and it started being e...

23:52
@Passerby FWIW, I also saw a 'why the downvote' comment, checked the vote count, was puzzled to see it was 0\0, then assumed it was rescinded. [And haven't voted on anything in that post because I still don't know what to think of the Q.]
@Catija Odd, it seems like the only thing I DV. :/

Q: Why does Rose's grandmother say the following dialogue?

@Walt HA HA HA
@Catija I'm mostly serious :O
My DV count is now more than a 1,000. It used to be 2-digits before I finally got sick and tired of horrible ID Qs.

Wow.
It'd be interesting to see the voting trends on the site now vs a year or two ago.
@Catija Unless I'm missing something, I don't think anyone's accusing you
23:59
@Walt I didn't say that anyone was. It was a blanket statement.
@Catija Oh. OK.
