I'm sure not the biggest Kevin Hart enthusiast, but I'd probably prefer him over noone.
If anything, though, it deserves everyone well that now they have to live without an Oscar host after causing yet another one of these useless Twitter scenes.
In that way, his retreat might have been an understandable decision. If people would drag out jokes you made 10 years ago just because you became an Oscar host, I guess many people would just say "okay, then do your show without me! kthxbye".
But we'll see. I'm sure it can work, it's not like the host is that important, especially in latest years.
But I'm afraid it won't help to make the Oscars look less ...generic either.
