Q: For a few dollars more - brother and sister

tommycauteroI'm confused. I've just watched again, after years, the masterpiece of Sergio Leone "for a few dollars more". I always thought that Van Cleef was the brother of the girl killed by Indio. But then my father told me that Van Cleef is the dad, and the girl was in love with her brother (incestuous, a...

A: How much is Stan Lee paid for his cameos in MCU films?

Ver NickPresumably, he is paid scale for his cameo appearances. However, don't feel sorry for him. Depending upon which internet source you consult, his net worth is estimated to be anywhere from $50 to $200 million. Stan Lee net worth! It's the first thing I saw when googled this question.

Q: Why didn't obliviate spell work on wizards?

Ver NickI have just watched first part of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and I can't understand the final scene. Rain influences everybody's memory except wizards. Is there is a spell which works against Obliviate spell? If there is no such spell, then why didn't it work on Jakob Kowalski?

@MovieReel correct me if i'm wrong but wasn't Newt's experiment with that poison a way to Obliviate only muggles?
like i seem to get the impression that Newt knew that if it worked then the wizards and witches would be unaffected
also considering the trailers for the next film showed Jacob with Newt i would question it's effectiveness anyway (depending on how it is that Newt and Jacob reunited)

asHKDumbo is the story of a flying elephant. There was an older of the 1941 film with the same name (Dumbo). It is confirmed that The Lion King is an exact remake of the 1994 film with the same name. Both the films were produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. So I was wondering that, Is "Dumb...

Q: Walking dead: S05E03 - How did Mishon got her sword back?

SaarikoIn S05, while arriving at Terminus, Mishon is stripped of her sword. In E03, she appears back with it, but I missed the part that she got it back. Carrol did not pick her sword back, only Darrels bow and Rick's watch (as far as I saw) So when and how was the sword returned to Mishon?

@AnkitSharma i didn't because i didn't know there was a dumbo movie coming out next year
i guess Disney ran out of ye olde films to remaster for Bluray
@NapoleonWilson that one i did know. i also heard today that they got the same guy who voiced Mufasa in the animated film to reprise his role
can't imagine The Lion King without that voice at the very least

12:17 PM
@Memor-X I could tell you, but...
Apparently Disney is putting out an Artemis Fowl film next year.

@Mithrandir oh yeh i totally forgot about that. i heard about that like a while ago

The trailer's out.

i was sorta excited to see what the world looked like because i hadn't read the books since high school and that was like over a decade ago

By casting Butler as brown and Artemis as white they mess up the constant relative disguises they do, though...

@NapoleonWilson money?
@Memor-X they are making live action of everything?
@NapoleonWilson Alaadin is in list too
@Mithrandir same old why did they change the skin colour?

@AnkitSharma would not surprise me. there's Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Maleficent, last i heard Mulan was set for 2020

@NogShine 5 rep away from your prediction

@AnkitSharma yep, milking it

Not really Fantasia but malificnet like remake film
@Memor-X And I am sure after that we will get live action Pricess and the Frog, Brave, Tangled and Frozen

@AnkitSharma well i'm not against a live action Frozen for obvious head canon reasons

lol
@MovieReel what is with this sudden GoT questions

2:25 PM
@MovieReel Actually an awesome question in retrospect, even if it might not have been intended as such.

2:43 PM
I hope the answer doesn't come across as too anti-oil, though. There definitely still has to be a place where "real men" drive "real cars", even if that pace is on a movie screen.
Which is actually interesting when set against he fact that the film has been lauded for its feministic aspects, while at the same time basically celebrating that raw fuel machismo that it calls out as the problem.
Pretty much in the same as the the world in-universe celebrates the same craziness for guzzoline that brought it down in the first place.
An awesome film altogether and with Blade Runner 2049 sure on the better side of the whole string of sequels to old stuff springing out nowadays.
While at the same time also employing a deliberate lack of continuity almost like a protest against the overfranchisification and canonification of everything possible nowadays (where even James Bond as the beacon of standalone storylines has been pressed into a continuous cross-movie story).
Of course this also makes me hope they don't turn this incarnation of Mad Max into some multi-film universe as they seemed to have announced. That would largely hurt this whole independent legend mythology they established with these films.

It's a bit oddly specific to me. About half their films are with princesses, I guess.

Except this queston rest all will be fien with additional princesses tag ;)

You also seemed to be the only one who even tried to create it.

Sure, but they also have sorting-hat. ;-P

SFF have character specific and prop specific tags

@NapoleonWilson but no toilet
@NapoleonWilson but not every princesses is disney princesses

@AnkitSharma When I get edit privileges, I will try to create one ;-)

@AnkitSharma See, it already gets super confusing. Now tell some guy that Pocahontas is a princess but Mulan isn't (or however it works).

5:35 PM
@NapoleonWilson Both are ;)

It would make more sense if it was a reasonably shared universe with an actual storyline, like the MCU. But I really don't know if we need specific product lines from studios.

Moana , Elsa and Ana is not

See, if anyone's a princess, those two cool girls are.
(And as much as I know Moana is, too.)

@NapoleonWilson Frozen and Tangled shown sign of shared universe rest not
@NapoleonWilson those too are way big then whole Disney princess deal
Disney Frozen is separately big entity

@AnkitSharma And that's where it is neither story- nor universe-driven but only an arbitrary marketing choice.

Q: Is there an official list of Disney Princesses?

HimarmSome characters in Disney movies are labelled as Princesses. Is there an official list of these Princesses? Rules to qualify, requirements that must be met?

@AnkitSharma Indeed, because it makes no sense.

@AnkitSharma why we don't have our version of this

@AnkitSharma Granted, that answer makes a bit more sense than just "it sells good". But still, it seems quite arbitrary.

Q: Why didn't Heimdall save Thor instead of Hulk?

Asif IqubalIn Avengers: Infinity War Heimdall sends Hulk to earth. Hulk was beaten badly by Thanos. And I don't think Heimdall didn't know Hulk much. Why didn't he save Thor by sending him to Earth? He is Heimdall's rightful king and an Asgardian. So why didn't he save Thor instead of Hulk?

That question sounds oddly familiar.
Or maybe it's just because I edited about 50 Heimdells to Heimdalls recently.

Hah, it seems my question does start to pick up HNQ momentum. \o/

@NapoleonWilson because we already have two question from same Heimdalls' decision but not dupe
