@TomV The short version is that one stored procedure does a select of two ids and then those two ids are passed along to many more stored procedures that operate on multiple DBs. I wasn't hoping so much that someone would be willing to read the code but that it's happened to someone else who might give me pointers

@CharlieBrumbaugh Yes, but that way you are essentially only counting on people with a specific experience, i.e. those who would find the circumstances of your problem familiar. Showing the code and perhaps some other details increases your chances of getting help because then people might be able to figure out what could be happening there. I'm just saying. There's no rush and it's perfectly up to you.

@ypercubeᵀᴹ What is this new word "substracting"?

@PaulWhite haha, I had a bad feeling while I was writing that .... dba.stackexchange.com/revisions/241455/2

if it keeps getting used like that it'll become a de facto new word before we know it
@ypercubeᵀᴹ 😀

A: Is "substract" (versus "subtract") a proper word?

AlyIt seems that the usage of "substract" is linguistically incorrect. However, I disagree about explaining this usage as a "showing-off". It seems that other languages do contain the letter "s" as in "soustraction" in French. People with a multi-lingual background are more likely to make mistakes, ...

> People with a multi-lingual background are more likely to make mistakes, and it is nice if we just point that out to them without prejudice.
There's my excuse from now on

the substance of the lansguages
In Catalan:
