Q: I don't have delete option under my question in stackexchange

GhaniHow to have delete option under my question in stackexchange?

7:38 AM
@TomV ^ That's the revision history for the original question.
Anyway, I added an answer to meta.

@PaulWhite How can I see the revision history once migrated?
Ha I see, some url hacking worked.
Oh, the migration link points to the revisions, I never noticed that either

@PaulWhite Yes I can see why he's not proud of that :)

In a way, he got what he wanted by destructively editing his question and having it migrated to meta. Can't say I love that part of it, but hey it's done now.

Maybe you could change the link to "the original question" to point to the revision history. For non-10K users it's a loop now :)
The link just puts me back on the meta question now
Which is somewhat weird, Us minions aren't allowed to see the original (deleted) question but we have access to the revision history (probably only the case with migrated questions)
@PaulWhite do you have a question number for a deleted question I'd like to try something ;)
Nevermind, it doesn't work for deleted posts if I try to modify the URL

@TomV Like that?

Q: Don't see it : Integration Services Catalog, and open the [All Executions] report

itzik PazI have Enterprise Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 6.2. and I am not see the option to the "[All Executions] report" in the Integration Services Catalog . How can I solve It. 10x

I've seen this a few times now: "10x" - does anyone have any idea what that means? I assume it is a local culture thing?

"Thanks"
Near-phonetical

Oh crikey, really? Cheers.

@AndriyM Wouldn't it make sense to add that illustration to the answer? I would do so, but I'm not sure where you got it from to properly attribute it.

@PaulWhite Found it searching for ssis catalog right click menu. Seems to belong to this article. Don't know if it would be all right to include it into the answer.

@AndriyM +1

@AndriyM Of course, just give attribution.
I'm happy to do it if you prefer.

@PaulWhite I'm reading the help page but an example for this particular scenario would be great. Thanks.
It's not a quotation, so I'm just unsure about best wording in this case. (Not too little, not too much.)

@AndriyM Done.

@PaulWhite Link still points back to the meta post for mere mortals, I had a go at an edit, roll back if you like

@TomV Oh I see, you meant in the meta post :) I edited my chat message!

Try visiting the original question without being logged in (private browser session maybe)
Ha, yes I meant the meta link, it's loopy if you don't have access to deleted posts
and I tested, I don't have access to the revision history for deleted posts so that seems OK

@TomV Yep works for me when not logged in too. Thanks.

the OP created an unnecessary confusing mess, which sucks :)

Yes.

A: Community has 5 rep?

Geoff DalgasWe try to never let the bots earn rep, but this one became sentient. I challenged Community to a battle of epic proportions and removed the extra 4 reputation by force. Lesson learned: never trust robots

Had missed that.

I think I need some more time. — dezso 1 min ago

@dezso Fair enough. I'll check in with you in 2020 :)

very good - have you also seen the comments after the answer was written?

@dezso Just now! Ha.

I mean, I could accept the answer, as I haven't seen this ever since, but that's why it was forgotten

The First Post review thing was touched a little while back, but I think they only changed the reputation requirement, not anything else I know of.
Perhaps it just got fixed and no one noticed. Perhaps Geoff did it. Perhaps not. In the words of jcolebrand, idk.
It was more an opportunity to leave a smartass comment than anything.

Accepted the answer in a timely fashion, as I don't see the issue popping up anymore. — dezso 12 secs ago
OTOH one has to spend their weekend usefully
like leaving such comments
;)

I only noticed it because he is employee #3 and answered the Community has 5 rep question above.

and on an unrelated note, I am wondering how I spent two years on SO without noticing DBA.SE

You were too busy being cross.

cross?

@dezso Being on SO makes one cross. #BetterExplanationsAreLonger

7:15 PM
@PaulWhite so, I know some related meanings of the word, but neither of them seem to solve the riddle you put

@dezso Being on SO makes one upset/angry/cross because of the stupidity. Being so cross all the time means you didn't notice Database Administrators.

@PaulWhite interesting :)
now I've found another 60 meanings on different dictionaries

English eh.
Who needs it.

I am sometimes wondering why it is not enough to use 'a' for everything
