hi, missed the interview yesterday, so maybe it is ok to ask a question (or rather make a suggestion) today: just a couple of days ago I learned that Zotero defined a Citation Style Language (CSL) to describe citation styles. CSL is now also used by Mendeley. So if some time in the future a biblatex equivalent to makebst will be available, maybe it is possible that this makebst-equivalent can process CSL files
