@Mephistopheles one of the things I've pondered for conlangs is what it'd be like to have a conlang where the vowels never got written down (i.e. written using an abjad instead of an alphabet, a la most of the Semitic language family)

A bit off-topic, but I didn't even bother with creating extra phonetic notations for different races like dragons. I just gave them some lyrebird traits, and now it's starting to backfire as there is no reason why more mischievous ones wouldn't use it to add laugh tracks and Seinfeld music to their jokes.

@JoeBloggs It's still better than the time I wanted to pull off a GG Martin and make my world history with discovery writing. That would have been just fine until I added my OC, who was supposed to make the plot follow a rough outline. He later went full Gestapo, abducted the villains with a Pobeda and seaedl them in a recursive function with no exit condition.
