@Hosch250 It's my personal opinion that it's not a good thing to publicly announce that someone was so fed up with the site that they decided they don't want to stay. If you guys are bent on doing that one of you can create a message with just that tag as content and the others can star it.

@Hosch250 Antistatistic bracelet: A bracelet that results in all possible events that could happen to the wearer all having an exactly equal probability.
(Please note that this dramatically increases the chances of death for the wearer. Put this bracelet on at your own risk)

hey there @Gryphon

Hi, @Shalvenay

how're things going?

Pretty well. Yourself?

@Secespitus I'm fine without it; I haven't brought it up again. It's mostly been Fox (and now Aify) bringing it up.

Are we still (not) doing questions on finding and 'listing' data sources for a subject? E.g. I've recently started to read up on the sizes of medieval housings and other data around this and was wondering if A) there's more information I, with my personal way of using search engines, cannot find; and B) if I have found data that others couldn't find...

So been considering typing up a question about that kind of data, looking for answers to bring up other sources of data;; the issue I have is, that my situation is not: I don't have anything on the subject and need help; but my situation is:

@dot_Sp0T Isn't this exactly what we have self-answers for? You had a question originally. Now you have found one possible answer and want to show this for others with a similar question, while still having the opportunity to gain answers from other people.
Similar to this. And how is your question style different from Database of real historical names, one of our best questions?

@Secespitus that question is quite old, in internet standards, already again. And I am not up-to-date with all the debates and what not happening over on the meta, etc. - So I thought I'd rather ask first :)
Also, seems I'll be writing up a question about the sizes of homes in medieval times
Also, nice reading you :)

Nice reading you, too :D
And about the debates: it feels like there's a new one popping up every day...
So it might be that your question starts a new one ;) But as far as I know, according to the standards of today it should be fine...

sweet, let's hope the debates wait another 12h
o/

:D
Good luck
