@adamaero could you elaborate? I don’t really get what you mean by “thinning agents”.

5 hours later…

@Stephie Throwing frozen bananas in a food processor and eating with a spoon--they're quite thick. The plant milk thins them out, makes it palatable.

That's how I'm describing what's happening anyway. Idk technical cooking chemistry terms. That's why I'm asking about it :)

2:43 PM
@adamaero if you need to thin something, any liquid should work. Just remember that oils probably work not so well (especially coconut, which becomes solid at rather warm temperatures), and that some liquids will react, either with other ingredients or based on temperature. (Think curdling.)

3:10 PM
My father would likely enjoy pureed banana mixed with vegetable oils :)
But he does have an unusual taste.
so yes, as Stephie said, use any liquid you want, and if you don't know which one you want, just try them out until you know.

9:36 PM
Some arroz con leche for pudding tonight :)
(that's 'rice with milk' for anyone interested)
@Ash And you haven't uploaded an amazingly wonderful photo that makes me want cinnamon rolls even more than I currently want cinnamon rolls? :o
@adamaero I've never had banana ice cream, but I have had lots of vegan ice cream and some of the best use rice milk

There we go. The white bits are just where the icing sugar got kinda clumped in the glaze.
