Not especially much. I had an overriding desire to sit down and write something and after I beat my creative instinct to death I decided to visit Writers.SE and its affiliated sites. You?
Yeah. I'm trying to get in the habit everyday myself instead of waking up at 3am in a cold sweat with an idea that won't quit until it gets itself represented in ones and zeroes.
Not for whomever is on the floor. I tend to be a bit agnostic about it. Their mother, on the other hand, tends to have small coronary events whenever the little ones get 'active'.
@jgbelacqua: if you wrote a novel where you gave the heroine a different name and ethnicity on every page, this would also subvert the dominant paradigm, but I doubt it would add to its legibility. — Peter Shor Jun 8 '11 at 0:36
@Kit Hey Kit, I was wondering... Do you know of any resource around the internet that helps you through the creation of characters (it reminds you what things you need to consider to create a full character)... I'm especially interested in: how to decide what characters are going to be good or bad. Now, I know I'm the one who decides, but a nice resource with tips to go through that phase would be nice.
@NeilFein That's nice. But I was thinking about deciding "Should this character be good or bad?" I think I finally decided it, but thanks for the tool anyway, I'll need it when writing about the characters. :)
Seriously, they have a downloadable demo. It's good for thirty days. You can use it for a week, do nothing for a month, then you still have the rest of the time left.
