@Robert Jeff said(in a blog post) that site's will keep the name they got when a subdomain is chosen, but that's not true for this site. What am I missing?

@antonytrupe I think it was Robert's blog post (blog.stackoverflow.com/2010/10/domain-names-the-wrong-question) however you're right to some extent - but I think part of the issue here is that we all assumed that the site couldn't have "LEGO" in the name, but after running this past the Legal Team, we were allowed to keep it. However we're still keeping it out of the URL as that's also covered by the Fair Use policy.
For example: The LEGO Trademark cannot be used in an Internet Address
The LEGO trademark should not be incorporated into an Internet address. Internet addresses have become useful tools for people to identify the source of a homepage. Using "LEGO" in the domain name would be creating the misleading impression that the LEGO Group sponsored the homepage.
Compared with: The LEGO Trademarks may be used under certain Limited Circumstances on an Unofficial Web Site
The LEGO trademarks (but not the logo) may be used in a non-commercial manner to refer to LEGO products or elements which are shown or discussed on a web site, as long as the trademark is not unduly emphasized or used in a way that can lead an observer to mistakenly believe that the site is sponsored or authorized by the LEGO Group.

@ZhaphBenDuguid That makes sense, even though I don't like it. Thanks.

@antonytrupe Indeed, it did seem a little forced, as you've probably noticed from the question/answers.
